Sited near US Route 9, NJ Route 70 and County Roads 527 and 571, Freedom Village at Toms River provides easy access to the main shopping/business area of Toms River, Ocean County Mall, and the Garden State Parkway. It is also 30 minutes from the beaches of Seaside Heights and Seaside Park.
This inclusive community provides barrier free accessible housing for people with mobility problems and also appeals to families who want spacious apartments in a quiet neighborhood.
Freedom Village at Toms River consists of six two-story apartment buildings with 12 units each with one-, two-, and three-bedroom rental apartments. There is also a community center that has administrative and maintenance offices along with a large great room for tenant activities. Transportation is available through New Jersey Transit buses and, for those who qualify, New Jersey Transit’s Access Link.
A preference will be given to households that live or work in Housing Region #4 as designated by the State of New Jersey consisting of Mercer, Monmouth, and Ocean Counties.
